Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3BP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SH3BP1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SH3BP1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3BP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SCLC show a favorable association.

STAD, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SH3BP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
