Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3BGRL mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3BGRL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SH3BGRL mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3BGRL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where SH3BGRL mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
