Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH2D3C RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SH2D3C data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SH2D3C RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH2D3C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where SH2D3C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
