Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH2D2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH2D2A data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SH2D2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH2D2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SH2D2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
