Across TCGA patient cohorts, SGCD protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,393 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SGCD-associated genes across cancer lineages are FGF7, RBMS3, and LMOD1. Each is linked with SGCD in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SGCD-to-partner and partner-to-SGCD results are reported.
