Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFRP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFRP1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SFRP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFRP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where SFRP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
