Across TCGA patient cohorts, SETMAR protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,125 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SETMAR-associated genes across cancer lineages are CRBN, GPALPP1, and MAGI1. Each is linked with SETMAR in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SETMAR-to-partner and partner-to-SETMAR results are reported.
