Across TCGA cell cohorts, SETMAR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 443 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SETMAR-associated genes across cancer lineages are SSX7, RASL10A, and ALKBH1. Each is linked with SETMAR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SETMAR-to-partner and partner-to-SETMAR results are reported.
