Across TCGA patient cohorts, SETBP1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 94 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SETBP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-B1, p27_pT157, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with SETBP1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SETBP1-to-partner and partner-to-SETBP1 results are reported.
