Across TCGA patient cohorts, SERPINE2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,881 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SERPINE2-associated genes across cancer lineages are COMP, SFRP4, and SFRP2. Each is linked with SERPINE2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SERPINE2-to-partner and partner-to-SERPINE2 results are reported.
