Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERPINA5 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SERPINA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where SERPINA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
