Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINA4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERPINA4 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SERPINA4 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.
CCRCC, COAD, and GBM are the cancer types where SERPINA4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
