Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN9-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEPTIN9-DT data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SEPTIN9-DT RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEPTIN9-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and LUAD show a favorable association.
KIRC, PAAD, and MESO are the cancer types where SEPTIN9-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
