Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPSECS-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEPSECS-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SEPSECS-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEPSECS-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and UCS show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and LGG are the cancer types where SEPSECS-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
