Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEMA5A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,655 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SEMA5A-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4636, ENPP2, and JAM3. Each is linked with SEMA5A in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEMA5A-to-partner and partner-to-SEMA5A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SEMA5A versus MIR4636 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.63.
