Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEMA5A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,337 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SEMA5A-associated genes across cancer lineages are MRPL19, CDCA2, and FOXM1. Each is linked with SEMA5A in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEMA5A-to-partner and partner-to-SEMA5A results are reported.
