Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEMA5A-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEMA5A-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher SEMA5A-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEMA5A-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.

UCS, KIRC, and ESCA are the cancer types where SEMA5A-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
