Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEMA4C protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,717 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SEMA4C-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCDC92, ANKRD39, and DIP2B. Each is linked with SEMA4C in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEMA4C-to-partner and partner-to-SEMA4C results are reported.
