Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEMA3E RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEMA3E data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SEMA3E RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEMA3E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and THCA show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and LGG are the cancer types where SEMA3E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
