Across TCGA patient cohorts, SELENOS RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 11,510 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SELENOS-associated genes across cancer lineages are MUC16, TTN, and KMT2D. Each is linked with SELENOS in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SELENOS-to-partner and partner-to-SELENOS results are reported.
