Across TCGA patient cohorts, SELENOS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,595 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SELENOS-associated genes across cancer lineages are TIE1, C19orf44, and HDAC5. Each is linked with SELENOS in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SELENOS-to-partner and partner-to-SELENOS results are reported.
