Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEH1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEH1L data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SEH1L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEH1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA and UCEC are the cancer types where SEH1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
