Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC61G Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEC61G data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SEC61G Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC61G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where SEC61G Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
