Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC31A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEC31A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SEC31A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC31A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where SEC31A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
