Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC23B RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEC23B data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SEC23B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC23B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and KIRC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRC, and SCLC are the cancer types where SEC23B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
