Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC16B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEC16B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SEC16B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC16B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
STAD, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SEC16B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
