Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC16B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEC16B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher SEC16B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC16B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

PDAC, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where SEC16B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
