Across TCGA patient cohorts, SDS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,513 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SDS-associated genes across cancer lineages are PKD2L1, APOE, and APOC1. Each is linked with SDS in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SDS-to-partner and partner-to-SDS results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SDS versus PKD2L1 in CCRCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.65.
