Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SDK1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SDK1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SDK1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SDK1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where SDK1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
