Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SDHC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SDHC data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SDHC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SDHC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SDHC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
