Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SDHAF4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SDHAF4 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SDHAF4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SDHAF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and THYM show a favorable association.

SCLC, SKCM, and THYM are the cancer types where SDHAF4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
