Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCYL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCYL1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher SCYL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCYL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
CHOL, GBM, and SKCM are the cancer types where SCYL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
