Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCUBE1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCUBE1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SCUBE1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCUBE1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PCPG and PAAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, LIHC, and UVM are the cancer types where SCUBE1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
