Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCNN1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCNN1B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SCNN1B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCNN1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, LGG, and HNSC are the cancer types where SCNN1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
