Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCNN1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCNN1A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SCNN1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCNN1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

LSCC and LUAD are the cancer types where SCNN1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
