Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCD5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,975 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR575, TMEM150C, and MLKL. Each is linked with SCD5 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCD5-to-partner and partner-to-SCD5 results are reported.
