Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCD5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 19 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are Src_pY527, FoxM1, and p62 Lck ligand. Each is linked with SCD5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCD5-to-partner and partner-to-SCD5 results are reported.
