Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCAMP3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCAMP3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SCAMP3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCAMP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SCAMP3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
