Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCAI mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCAI-associated genes across cancer lineages are PDCD4, ATM, and c-Met_pY1235. Each is linked with SCAI in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCAI-to-partner and partner-to-SCAI results are reported.
