Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SARS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SARS1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SARS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SARS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where SARS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
