Across TCGA patient cohorts, SAMM50 protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 23,125 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SAMM50-associated proteins across cancer lineages are ATP5MD, ATP5PB, and ATP5PD. Each is linked with SAMM50 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SAMM50-to-partner and partner-to-SAMM50 results are reported.
