Across TCGA cell cohorts, SAMM50 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,882 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SAMM50-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Protein insertion into mitochondrial outer membrane, Positive regulation of mitochondrial fusion, and Outer mitochondrial membrane organization. Each is linked with SAMM50 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SAMM50-to-partner and partner-to-SAMM50 results are reported.
