Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAMD15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SAMD15 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SAMD15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAMD15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

UVM, ACC, and LUSC are the cancer types where SAMD15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
