Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAC3D1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SAC3D1 data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SAC3D1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAC3D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and DLBC show a favorable association.
LIHC, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where SAC3D1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
