Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100P RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated S100P data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher S100P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and BLCA show a favorable association.

LUAD, SCLC, and BLCA are the cancer types where S100P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
