Across TCGA patient cohorts, S100B protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,889 significant associations in total. OV shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible S100B-associated genes across cancer lineages are CD1A, CD1C, and CD1B. Each is linked with S100B in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100B-to-partner and partner-to-S100B results are reported.
