S100B

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → FUNCTION-RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, S100B RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,032 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible S100B-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Response to anesthetic, Neutrophil-mediated killing of fungus, and Negative regulation of skeletal muscle cell differentiation. Each is linked with S100B in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100B-to-partner and partner-to-S100B results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Response to anesthetic grouped by S100B-low versus S100B-high in KIDNEY.

RNA expression associated GO terms by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (S100B→partner) and Y-score (partner→S100B) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
