Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A7L2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated S100A7L2 data layer compared with 10 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher S100A7L2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A7L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV and SARC are the cancer types where S100A7L2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
