Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A7A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated S100A7A data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher S100A7A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.

BLCA, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where S100A7A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
