Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A11P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of S100A11P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where S100A11P6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types S100A11P6 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, HNSC, and LUSC are the cancer types where S100A11P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
